APC Senators agree with PDP, others to impeach Buhari

Members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the Senate have agreed with their counterparts in the opposition parties to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari.

This was made known by the lawmaker representing Abia South Senatorial District in the red chamber, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe.

According to the lawmaker, most of the Senators are fed up with the administration of President Buhari and they were now prepared to force him out of office.

Abaribe told Channels Television that the lawmakers, elected to represent Nigerians, can no longer sit and watch while President Buhari crashes Nigeria.

Abaribe said, “…It’s not true to say that we don’t have the numbers [to impeach Buhari]. Most of the APC Senators are with us.

“And at the point, when this starts, that’s when Nigerians will know that almost every Senator is fed up and can no longer continue to see a situation that looks like what happened in Rome.

“This is exactly what’s going on today. [The question is], do we wait until this administration crashes the nation or do we take action to prevent it.”
