APC under fire for abandoning construction works on Makurdi-Aliade-Otukpo, Makurdi-Naka-Adoka, and Makurdi-Gboko roads

By Olikita Ekani

I was maniacally bewildered reading a lie from the pit of hell in a post written by an APC hireling yesterday, praising President Buhari for the construction of Makurdi-Aliade-Otukpo, Makurdi-Naka-Adoka and Makurdi-Gboko roads.

This innuendo remains a figment of imagination of the writer as the aforementioned roads are still the way they were since 2015 despite the hallelujah praises by APC media errand boys.

I passed Makurdi to Adoka through Naka and backed to Makurdi through Otukpo, Aliade few days ago. I couldn’t see any ongoing construction except potholes and gully erosions everywhere. I could only see a 2km grading of the road near Adoka. The Federal road along Otukpo township is now worst than ever in history of the town as more potholes filled with stagnant and smelly water have unveiled their ugly heads. The worst is the famous round about assumed to be the biggest in West Africa.

I was also in Gboko last week, no construction is ongoing except a 1km grading near BCC which has since been abandoned.

This is a deceit taken too far. I will be the first person to praise Buhari if these roads mentioned above are constructed.

I can’t keep quiet until the needful is done on the roads.

Anyone should prove me wrong if I lie.
