Comrade Abba Patrick Moro, the Senator representing the good people of Benue South Senatorial District, congratulates RT Hon Samson Okwu, representing Oju/Obi Federal Constituency, on his victory at the Court of Appeal.
Hon. David Ogewu, of APGA, had approached the Court of Appeal for a review of the appellate court’s verdict that removed him from the Green Chamber as the Honourable Member representing the Federal Constituency. The Court of Appeal sitting in Jos, today, agreed with its earlier ruling and upheld Okwu’s election.
Senator Moro celebrates with Hon. Okwu and enjoins him to be magnanimous in victory by carrying everyone along. He urges him to provide qualitative representation for the good people of Oju/Obi Federal Constituency who re-elected him for a record third term.
The Distinguished Senator appeals to Hon. Ogewu to accept the ruling in good faith and join hands with Hon. Okwu to work for the good of his people.
As the Senator representing the Constituency in the Red Chamber, Comrade Moro promises to continue to work with Hon. Okwu and all the Critical Stakeholders from there, including Hon. Ogewu, to provide quality leadership that will impact positively on the lives of the people.
