Apple set to unveil iPhone 17, new iPhone Air at ‘Awe-Dropping’ event
Apple is set to unveil its latest iPhone lineup, including the iPhone 17 standard, Pro, Pro Max, and a new iPhone Air, at its annual product event on Tuesday at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. The iPhone Air is expected to be Apple’s thinnest and lightest flagship model to date.
In addition to the phones, Apple plans to announce the Apple Watch Series 11 and updated AirPods, which may include a live translation feature. The company is also expected to provide launch dates for its mobile and desktop operating systems, iOS 26 and macOS Tahoe.
Industry analysts are watching how Apple will manage the impact of potential tariffs on China, which could affect pricing and supply chains. The company has already shifted part of its production to India and moved large shipments of iPhones to the US ahead of tariff deadlines.
Apple is also expected to discuss developments in AI features for the iPhone, including improvements to Siri, following last year’s mixed reception of its Apple Intelligence suite.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. PT and will likely provide more details on pricing, availability, and new features for Apple’s latest devices.
