Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State, on Thursday, called on the Federal Government to apply the same energy it used in arresting Nnamdi Kanu to arrest leaders of Miyeiti Alla Kauta Hore.
Ortom explained that Fulani leaders have continued to cause too much pain in the country with the incessant killings across Nigeria, particularly, Benue State.
He described as a misplaced priority the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu who he said was fighting a just cause.
Ortom said that the Federal Government could as well deployed the same energy and zeal to arrest leaders of Miyeiti Alla Kauta Hore who he said live in the next neighbour with the presidency.
“It is regrettable that Kanu who is fighting a just cause could be arrested while leaders of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore are walking about freely.
“Let there be justice and the only way to do this is to arrest the leaders of the herdsmen who have caused so much pain and suffering to our people.
“Let me say that if the Federal Government could deploy so much zeal to arrest Nnamdi Kanu they should also be able to apply same in arresting the Fulani herdsmen, especially, the leadership of Miyeiti Alla Kauta Hore who live with us in the country.
