Arc. Eric Adokwu bags ‘Award of Excellence’ for philanthropy, youths empowerment

The Honourable Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom on Housing and Urban Development, Distinguished Arc Eric Adokwu has bagged an Excellence Award for his contributions towards the Development of Youths and Philanthropic works in Benue State and beyond.

The award was presented to him by the famous North Central Magazine Publishers Form, NCMPF on Wednesday, 18th December, 2019 at an elaborate ceremony attended by political leaders, friends and his well wishers in Makurdi.

Responding after receiving the award on behalf of the Obobowu’K’Ohimini, Olikita Ekani thanked the organisers of the award for finding Arc Adokwu worthy of the feat, urging them to always abide by the principle of awarding those in the society that really merit such award. He appreciated them for not considering his financial status and that of the other awardees before their selection, saying Arc Adokwu wouldn’t have made it if such factor was considered as the yardstick for the selection.

Among other awardees at the epoch-making occasion include, Dr Mrs Torkwase Comfort Ajo, Agatu Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Hon Usman Alilu S and that of Logo, Hon. Albertson Ankwa Amo II.
