Armed robbers invade Oyo APC chairman’s residence, steal party’s vehicles

Armed robbers, on Friday, invaded the residence of the acting Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Oyo state, Chief Akin Oke, and carted away party vehicle.

The hoodlums stormed the Chairman’s residence located in the Oluyole area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, on Friday, and stole one of the vehicle belonging to the party.

The caretaker of the Publicity Secretary of the party in Oyo State, Dr. Abdul Azeez Olatunde, who confirmed the attack to journalists, said anyone with useful information about the whereabouts of the vehicle should contact the APC Secretariat of the state.

“This announcement is intended to notify members of the Public, the theft of the white hummer bus with the inscription of All Progressives Congress Oyo State on it; it was stolen, Friday 26th February 2021 at the Premises of the State Party Chairman.

“This is to alert security operatives within and outside Oyo State, and members of the public that wherever the white hummer bus is found should be reported to the nearest police station or the nearest APC office or better still call 080-3463-1890,” the APC spokesman said.
