Asa drags Joeboy to court over copyright infringement, demands N300m

Ace Nigerian singer, Asa has file a suit against fellow singer, Joeboy over copyright infringement.

Asa is demanding for  N300 million naira with the claim that Joeboy’s new song “Contour” samples her work without her consent.

She served Joeboy the notice on September 30th, 2022 and also demanding  that Joeboy remove the song from all digital platforms within twenty-four hours, issue a written apology, pay N300 million, and assign her a sixty-percent publishing split.
