The University of Ilorin chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, seems to have concluded plans to join the planned nationwide strike, IDOMA VOICE can report.
ASUU is demanding that the Federal Government implements the Memorandum of Action it signed with the union last year.
According to the union, if nothing is done by the Federal Government by then, the lecturers would embark on strike.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has said its National Executive Council will meet at the University of Lagos on February 12 and 13.
However, report reaching IDOMA VOICE has it that the University of Ilorin has reportedly postponed its examinations.
No reason was given for the new development, but IDOMA VOICE learnt that it might not be unconnected with the planned industrial action by the academic body.
A tweep, @plato_reports also confirmed the report via a tweet.
