Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has strongly condemned the killing of over 22 persons in Zamfara State by bandits.
Reports said no fewer than 22 people were killed in the wee hours of Tuesday in Tunga Kwana community in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
It was gathered that the bandits stormed the village and started shooting sporadically, killing even women and children.
Reacting Atiku in a tweet said it is one attack too many.
He wrote, “The attack in Zamfara that led to the killing of scores of people is one attack too many. #EndInsecurity should be more than a hashtag; it should be a commitment to the protection of the life and property of the people of the region.”
