The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, is currently in the United States with some party leaders.
Atiku arrived in Washington, D.C Thursday evening in company of Sokoto State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Dino Melaye and a host of others.
Atiku, who confirmed this via his verified Twitter handle, said the meeting is aimed at building an economically stronger and more secure Nigeria.
He tweeted, “I just arrived in Washington, D.C, for meetings and engagements to build an economically stronger and more secure Nigeria! -AA.”
