Some top leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party are missing as the party unveiled its presidential campaign team on Thursday.
The party had named the Sokoto State Governor and Chairman party’s Governors Forum, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as Director General for the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC) for the 2023 elections.
The party also appointed former governor of Cross Rivers State, Liyel Imoke as Deputy Director General Operations, Professor Adewale Oladipu, as Deputy Director Administration, Chief Rymond Dokpesi as Deputy Director Technical and Systems, while Ekwesilieze Nwodo is appointed as Deputy Director Research and Strategy of the NCMC.
PDP in a statement by its National Organising Secretary, Hon. Umaru Bature also appointed the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel as Chairman, the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed Vice Chairman North and Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde as Vice Chairman South of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
However, notable names Bukola Saraki, Samuel Ortom, Godwin Obaseki, Okezie Ikpeazu and some governors are missing.
