The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, visited his opponent at the polls, Anyim Pius Anyim.
IDOMA VOICE recalls that Anyim, a former Senate President, garnered 14 votes at the primaries of the party.
He received Atiku and his entourage in his Abuja residence on Monday.
During the brief meeting, Atiku congratulated Anyim for his doggedness and enjoined him to support him so they can dislodge the ruling All Progressives Congress from power in 2023.
Atiku had earlier visited his closest rival at the poll, Nyesom Wike and Bukola Saraki.
