President Buhari-led APC government has lost the battle to the terrorists, says Atiku Support Organisation……demands the president resign and apologize for showing a pernicious level of incompetence.
Nigeria’s internal security under the APC government can best be described as a travesty. Tbe fact that farmers can no longer go to their farms and returned home alive clearly shows that the country is under siege and Nigerians have become endangered species. Recent events clearly showed the president Mohammadu Buhari-led APC government has capitulated to theu terrorists.
This is no surprise because over time and despite being a retired army general, President Mohammadu Buhari has never disappointed in proving to Nigerians that he is mentally and physically unfit and incapable of managing the affairs of this country especially of securing the lives of the over 200 million people, which is his fundamental constitutional responsibility and oath of office.
As citizens, we are extremely troubled about the beheading of the over 43 rice farmers in Zabarmari, Jere local government area of Born° state, and the increased spate of killing of innocent people in the country.
We are also extremely worried that in some states, the security agents had to escort people to the farms to harvest their produce. This is terrible and it will, no doubt, have dire consequences on Nigeria’s food security.
While we ask God for the peaceful repose of the souls of the dead, we demand strongly that President Mohammadu Buhari sack the service chiefs, immediately and rejig the national security architecture or tender his resignation letter, before we all get slaughtered.
ENOUGH of the usual “I condemn” rhetoric. We demand action, NOW.
