Attack on Abba Moro’s aide: Ai-Odu community has declared war on us – Ugbugbu youths threaten reprisal

Youths of Ugbugbu community see the attack on Ameh Comrade Godwin, media aide to Senator Abba Moro as a declaration of war on our land by Ai-Odu community, especially the family of Adoyi Onuh.

Ameh, a native of Udaburu-Ugbugbu, was reportedly attacked by some thugs led by Samuel Odoh Onuh, who is aspiring to led Ogbadibo, and his brother, Frank in Abuja on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.

The attackers, after beating Ameh mercilessly for reason they have not disclosed, tagged him ‘a thief’ and he was nearly lynched by angry mob, which went after him with dangerous weapons.

This is a direct attack on the entire Ugbugbu community and we would not hesitate to go on reprisals if nothing is done within 24 hours.

We want to make it emphatically clear that nobody has the monopoly of violence, not even Ai-Odu community.

We are watching and waiting.
