Attack on Akor Ikwuoche barbaric, regrettable – Abba Moro

The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, condemns, in the strongest terms, the attempt on the life of a constituent, Akor Ikwuoche.

Ikwuoche, an APC chieftain, was attacked by unknown gunmen on Saturday morning in Nyanya, Abuja.

Senator Moro condemns the attack and says it’s barbaric, regrettable and abhorrent.

The Senator wonders why anybody would want to take a life that he didn’t create. He says politics is only a game that needs not to be played with so much bitterness and anger to warrant an attempt on anybody’s life, he appeals to political actors to embrace tolerance, love and patience irrespective of our political and ideological differences, even as we prepare for the 2023 general elections.

The Senator calls on security agents to do everything within their powers to arrest the perpetrators of this heinous crime and bring them to book. He wishes Ikwuoche a quick recovery.
