Following the controversy generated by his birthday message to the senate president, David Mark, Idoma first son, Enenche De Comedian has affirmed that he’s not afraid of death, so long he stands for the truth.
Enenche triggered social media debate on Wednesday with his article, which many people see as a personal attack on the senate president.
The comedian said he owes no apology for baring his mind over Mark’s 16 years of failed leadership.
In response to many of his critics, Enenche asserted that if being just is a crime, he’s willing to die for that.
He wrote thus: “I would like thank all those who have shown concerns, those who out of love for me made efforts to bring my attention to what they considered necessary, following my earlier letter that has gone viral on social media.
Those who called to sow the seed of fear, i thank you, the seed would not germinate because my heart doesn’t know how to accommodate fear.
Those who commended, i thank you for sharing in my views.
Life is too short to be taken for granted. I am on that crossroad where i have to choose between traditional or a new way that depicts my Destiny’s road map.
I have lived enough, and i have equally died enough.
When blood of brothers and sisters perish due to system failure of the society; i also died there.
When poverty and diseases send brothers and sisters to early grave, i also died there.
I have lived enough, i have lived that life of me, myself and i enough. It is time to step out, to live that true Life i was wired for.
I am not afraid of death, because at the end of the day, no man would come out of life alive.
I am not afraid of the grave, what i am afraid of is to enter the grave without leaving a life behind… i mean that life that must live beyond my grave… That is the life i am living for.
There is a voice crying for expression, there is a life to live, this life would break protocols and traditions… but i just have to live.
I shall stand by truth, even if it means standing alone… that is the life.
I shall stand by anything that is just… that is the life.
I shall tell you the truth, no matter how you feel, because someone just have to say it the way it is.
Don’t fear for me, no man can cut short my destiny as long as i stand by the truth… falsehood can never triumph over truth.
I am not afraid of death, neither i’m i afraid of of the grave… what i dread most, it going into my grave without leaving a life that lives beyond it.
This is me, this is what i stand for. Someone just have to say the truth. That is exactly what i am doing.
If you hate me, it is because you hate the truth… but the truth is that; truth would always be truth.
