Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr has surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify, encompassing all her credits.
The milestone, announced by data tracking platform Kworb on October 10, 2024, comes just months after the release of her second album, The Year I Turned 21, which alone has garnered over 500 million streams.
With this achievement, Ayra Starr joins the ranks of fellow Nigerian stars Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, Wizkid, CKay, and Davido, all of whom have also crossed the 2 billion mark on Spotify.
The news follows shortly after Ayra received four nominations for the 2024 MTV EMAs.
