United States striker, Foliarin Balogun, expressed his desire to feature for Premier League club Arsenal in the upcoming 2023/24 season after his successful loan spell at French Ligue 1 club, Reims.
During the 2023/24 season, Balogun showcased his talents as one of the star strikers in the French League, scoring an impressive 21 goals and providing five assists in 37 games.
In an interview with AFTV, Balogun emphasized his readiness to return to Arsenal and make his mark with the Gunners.
“Feeling ready, of course. I’ve done some work over the off-season, staying ready. That’s the aim, I want to play as well, so yeah, I gotta see what happens,” Balogun said.
Having switched his allegiance to the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) after not receiving a call-up from England’s Three Lions, Balogun seems eager to continue his football journey with Arsenal.
With Balogun’s outstanding performances in France, Arsenal could potentially benefit from his attacking prowess as they aim to build on their Premier League runners-up position with 84 points accumulated in the previous season.
