Bandits have abducted 36 residents in Jangali Bangoma community, Birnin Gwari LGA of Kaduna State.
The incident occurred around 3.30am on Monday, December 6, 2021.
Recall that bandits on Friday kidnapped over 50 residents of Ungwa Gimbiya village, Chikun LGA of Kaduna.
Chikun LGA has become a hotbed for bandits attacks in recent weeks. On December 1, Eons Intelligence reported that bandits killed one person and rustled several cattle in Markafi village, Chikun LGA.
The attack in Chikun LGA is coming one week after the Kaduna State Local Government announced the restoration of telecommunication services in some parts of the State.
Recall, on September 29, Eons Intelligence reported that the State Government suspended telecommunication services to tackle the troubling banditry and other related crimes in the State.
Kajuru, Chikun, Igabi, Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Zaria, and Zango-Kataf were some of the Local Government Areas where telecommunication services were suspended in the State
