Bandits attack Ungwan Baka, Agunu Ward, situated in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. This attack resulted in the tragic death of a farmer, causing injuries to two others, while an alarming 25 individuals were abducted.
The armed bandits, wielding guns and machetes, struck the community during the early hours of the day, catching the residents unawares while they were asleep. Although the Kaduna State Police Command has not yet responded to the incident, local sources have reported the horrifying events.
A survivor of the attack, who wished to remain anonymous, provided an account of the situation: “Approximately 25 people were abducted in Unguwan Baka of Agunu Ward during the early hours of Tuesday. Two people sustained injuries, and one lost their life. We rushed those injured to the hospital, and we fervently wish for their swift recovery. As for those who were taken captive, we pray for their safe return. Your prayers for our community are greatly appreciated. This marks the third attack on our community.”
