Bandits have abducted not less than five persons from a factory at Tegina town, Rafi LGA of Niger State.
This is coming barely five days after bandits attacked Gidan-Kwano community, Minna LGA, a town directly opposite the main FUTMINNA campus, killing one and abducting another.
The incident occurred around 9pm on Saturday November 13.
Sources say the bandits numbering about ten invaded the community on motorbikes and went to a sachet water factory adjacent to Government Girls’ Secondary School in the community, where they abducted the victims.
Tegina village has become a hotbed for bandits attacks in recent months. Most notable is the abduction of over 70 students from Salihu Tanko Islamiyya School, Tegina. The students spent over three months in captivity before regaining their freedom
