Bandits kidnap 12 women, children in Erana, Niger State

No fewer than 12 persons, including children and women have been kidnapped in a fresh attack by suspected bandits at Erana in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.

The attack was confirmed by former Senator representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani.

He tweeted, “Yesternight, in a village called Erana in Shiroro LG,Niger State, Bandits stormed and kidnapped twelve people including children and women. They remain in captivity.”

Shiroro is a Local Government Area in Niger State, with its headquarters in the town of Kuta.
It has an area of 5,015 square kilometres and a population of 385,404.
