Bandits kidnapped scores of commuters on Abuja-Kaduna road

Many travelers were Friday evening Kidnapped at Jere and Katari along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.

IDOMA VOICE gathered that the bandits blocked the road before abducting their victims and whisking away with them.

According former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani who confirmed the incident on Twitter on Friday, he received a distress call from a traveler.

”I have just got a call that bandits have blocked the Kaduna Abuja road, in between Jere and Katari village in this broad daylight. Scores of people were kidnapped while many have made a fast u-turn in the face of gunshots,” Sani tweeted.

“The bandits blocked the road between Jere and Katari at about 4 pm.”
