Baptism of fire: Unizik female student, Chioma bathes colleague with hot water

A second-year student at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, identified as Chioma, is alleged to have scalded the president of her hostel, identified as Mark, with hot water.

According to a Facebook source, Valentine Mbadugha, Chioma reportedly also stabbed Mark during the altercation, which purportedly began over disputes regarding the cleanliness of their school hostel.

The incident unfolded on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Twins Fall Lodge, located in Ifite-Awka.

Reportedly, Chioma reacted violently when reminded by Mark of her responsibility to participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the hostel.

While the details surrounding the attack remain unclear, it is reported that Mark has been transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

As of the time of filing this report, the spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, has not confirmed the incident.
