Barcelona eye move for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Napoli’s talented winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, has caught the attention of FC Barcelona, the reigning La Liga champions, as they plan for the 2024 transfer window.

Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian sensation who earned the title of Serie A Player of the Season for the 2022/23 campaign, has consistently delivered mesmerizing performances. Barcelona is keen on securing a deal with him for the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old Kvaratskhelia played a pivotal role in Napoli’s attack, partnering with Victor Osimhen as they clinched their third Serie A championship.

Barcelona have been working diligently to address their financial challenges, making it possible for them to potentially make a significant marquee signing next summer.

Napoli have set the asking price for Kvaratskhelia at around €100 million, according to El Nacional. Barcelona is likely to require reinforcements in the left-wing position, especially with the expectation that Joao Felix, who joined Barcelona on loan this summer, will return to Atletico Madrid next year.

In the ongoing season, Kvaratskhelia has contributed with one assist in two Serie A matches for Napoli, who currently sit in sixth place in the Serie A standings with six points from three games.

Meanwhile, Barcelona find themselves in third place in the La Liga standings, amassing 10 points from their first four matches of the season.
