Bayern Munich reach verbal agreement with Sadio Mane
Sadio Mane has reportedly reached a full verbal agreement with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, and a deal for the Liverpool attacker is now extremely close.
The Senegalese international is close to signing a three-year contract, with negotiations between the two teams nearing completion. Liverpool rejected an earlier bid, but Bayern is ready to propose a more acceptable offer to the English Premier League team.
Mane’s decision to leave Anfield has been on the cards for a while, with Bayern Munich being his preferred destination. A deal for the 30-year-old means it is becoming increasingly likely that Mane will play in the Bundesliga next season.
Mane has been with Liverpool since joining from Southampton in 2016. During that time, the forward appeared 196 times for the club, scoring 90 goals across all competitions. He also won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.
