Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of Big Brother Naija All Stars, revealed that she has yet to experience a peaceful night’s sleep since her remarkable victory.
In a ceremony held on Tuesday to present her with the N120 million grand prize she won on Sunday, Ilebaye shared her sentiments about her newfound status.
“I’m still trying to grasp the reality of being the winner of the All-Stars season,” she admitted. “I’m still in disbelief; it’s like a dream. I’m adjusting to every moment. When they announced me as the winner, I was overwhelmed with excitement. I couldn’t believe it. I haven’t slept since that moment.”
Ilebaye’s remarkable achievement marks her as the second winner from Northern Nigeria, following in the footsteps of Katung Aduwak, who won the inaugural season in 2006. Additionally, she joins an exclusive group of women, including Mercy Eke (2019) and Phyna (2022), as recipients of the coveted Big Brother Naija prize money.
