The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has expressed profound disapproval towards the remarks made by Seyi Awolowo, a participant in Big Brother Naija All Stars. In a recent conversation with Whitemoney following a Saturday night party, Seyi had made controversial statements, prompting strong criticism.
During the conversation, Seyi mentioned that he had created a miscellaneous account for his son, suggesting that it was meant to facilitate his involvement in sexual encounters with other individuals’ daughters. This statement sparked a considerable amount of controversy on various social media platforms.
The Lagos State DSVA took to its official platform, previously known as Twitter and now referred to as X, to respond to the situation. In a post, the agency unequivocally denounced Seyi Awolowo’s comments and the disturbing video in which they were made. The agency expressed that such remarks propagate harmful attitudes and contribute to fostering a culture of violence and abuse.
This condemnation highlights the need for promoting respectful and safe conversations surrounding sexual matters, particularly in the public domain.
