Doyin David, a former Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, opened up about the reasons why her relationship with fellow contestant Chizzy didn’t work out. The duo had developed a close bond during the 2022 Season 7 ‘Level Up’ edition of the show.
In a post-show interview, Doyin discussed the possibility of a romantic relationship with Chizzy. However, during a conversation with her current housemates, Pere and Ilebaye, on the ongoing BBNaija All-Stars show, Doyin shed light on the issues that led to their split.
Doyin stated that they had different approaches to conflict resolution, which ultimately caused problems between them. She expressed, “His pattern was not going to work for me. If we fight, when I want us to settle, we have to settle. But he wants to take his time, you know he does not want to speak out of anger.”
Apart from their conflict resolution differences, Doyin mentioned that their perspectives on life were also divergent. Despite their relationship not working out, she emphasized that they remain great friends to this day.
