Mercy Eke, a former participant of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has shared her perspective on why she is not interested in being a ‘Baby Mama’, a term used to describe an unmarried mother.
During an interview with media personality Hero Daniels, the 33-year-old revealed her desire to settle down and start a family. She emphasized her choice to avoid being a ‘Baby Mama’ like some of her fellow celebrities.
Expressing her thoughts, Mercy said, “I don’t want to be a baby mama. At this point, I’m ready to settle down and have a family. I’m ready to have my own kids. If I wanted to be a baby mama, I would have been one but no disrespect to ‘baby mamas’. I would rather be married first because I come from a Christian home.”
She highlighted the importance of companionship and having someone who cares for you, emphasizing her readiness to embrace the role of a wife and a mother. Mercy expressed her longing for a husband and her eagerness to start a family while acknowledging the need for care and support that comes with a family.
