BBNaija S9: Zion says Chinwe isn’t his type, but stays for benefits

Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ contestant Zion, 26, has admitted that his current girlfriend and partner on the show, Chinwe, 30, isn’t his ideal type. Zion disclosed that he’s dating Chinwe mainly because of the benefits he receives from her.

During a conversation with fellow housemate Fairme on Thursday, Zion explained that although Chinwe doesn’t fit his usual preferences, she treats him far better than his past partners.

“Chinwe is a mature woman. She’s the firstborn, taking care of her siblings after losing her mother and with her father remarried,” Zion said.

He continued, “Normally, I could be with a girl, and she wouldn’t even care to ask what I do for a living. But Chinwe prays for me, sends me prayer points—she’s very prayerful. She cooks amazing meals whenever I visit, making sure I’m comfortable, even getting a cook and cleaner sometimes. She’s homely, even though she’s not my usual type. My usual spec is just about looks, but I’ve realized that my past specs never treated me like this.”

Fairme agreed, adding, “That’s why we tell women it’s not just about looks; character and how you treat a man are what matter most.”

Zion further commented on his past relationships, noting, “I’ve been with Gen Z women before, but it’s been more stressful, even if some of them are sensible.”

Interestingly, during a previous argument with Zion, Chinwe revealed that she had “sponsored” him to enter the show.
