The Benue State Ministry of Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, is inviting the general public to the inauguration of the State of the art Benue Geographic Information Service Centre, a Major component of the Ortom land digitization project.
The edifice is an embodiment of modern ideas for reforming land administration in ICT, houses the highest standards of digital software for seamless management of land administration such as processing of C of O, systematic and efficient land recertification, regularization and registration of land titles.
Others are warehousing of land documents in soft and hard copies, automated and transparent systems of revenue generation that eliminates leakages as well as digital aerial mapping of the entire state amongst other functions.
His Excellency, Governor Samuel Ortom will be leading his Rivers State counterpart, H. E Nyesom Wike and other eminent personalities as well as the good people of Benue State to the inauguration of the BENGIS service centre on Monday, 12th December, 2022 by 10am.
The venue is the premises of the state Ministry of Lands, Survey and Solid Minerals, Old Bridge Road, Makurdi, Benue State.
