Benue 2019: Jime assures Mkor of reinstatment if elected as governor

By Morgan Adikwu

As Benue battles with the unrefuted allegation that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Barr. Emmanuel Jime, has vowed to repel the Anti-open Grazing and Ranches Establishment Law, if supported by fulani to be elected as governor of Benue State, thus, Jime is again alleged to have assured Aondona Mkor Ph.D, of reinstatement by setting aside his (Mkor) dismissal from Benue State University, if supported by the latter in the 2nd March guber election.

Before his dismissal, Mkor was a lecturer at the Department of Political Science, Benue State University, where he was alleged to be involved in extortion in exchange for examination marks, sexual harassment, intimidation of students and other unethical professional behavior.

These allegations were investigated by the University Disciplinary Committee and with available indicting evidents, Mkor was found guilty and was subsequently dismissed from the prestigious citadel of learning. Upon his dismissal, Mkor bragged of using his influence in government circles to nullify the decision (dismissal) of the University Governing Council.

A failed boast, that Mkor has been disappointed with the non interference of the State government. Mkor therefore, decided to maliciously vilify the State government with fictitious incoherent concoctions. A dubious activities that have earned Mkor the foremost propagandist tool of falsehood dissemination of the APC in Benue.

It is as a result of this scurrilous role that Jime has assured Mkor of not only reinstatement but elevation in rank at the Department of Political Science, Benue State University. According to those privy of Mkor reinstatement plot, ”just as embarassing, harmful and destructive the repelling of the Anti-open Grazing and Ranches Establishment Law will cause Benue, so will the reinstatement of Mkor cause the integrity of the University community and the State”.
