Benue 2023 Governorship: Engr. Benson Abounu meets Enone traditional rulers, get royal approval, blessings

As part of his consultations with traditional rulers in Benue South Senatorial District in respect of his candidacy for 2023 governorship race in Benue State, state deputy governor, Engr. Benson Abounu today met traditional rulers from Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo local government areas, also called Enone at the traditional Council Hall, Okpoga, Okpokwu local government area.

The Ada Enone, and chairman, Enone Intermediate Area Traditional Council, HRH, Chief Engr. George Ede and all the second and third class chiefs, as well as district and clan heads were on hand to receive the deputy governor and give him standing approval and blessings. They called him God sent and prayed for his success.

Engr. Abounu was accompanied on the visit by the Committee of Friends for Abounu, a powerful group of grassroots politicians from Zone A and B committed to the election of the serving deputy governor. Others were all he 9 elected council chairmen from zone C, past and serving commissioners, House of Assembly members, Special Advisers and other grassroots politicians.( More details of the consultation later)
