Ahead of the 2023 general election, Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has harped on fairness, Justice and equity for all in deciding who will take over from him.
The governor also promised that the party under him would ensure free and credible primaries that would engender unity and produce a candidate to beat at the election.
The governor had during the Zone C PDP Caucus of the party today held at Otukpo also stressed the need for sustained unity in the party and promotion of its activities through regular meetings and other actions that give members a greater sense of belonging.
He encouraged stakeholders and members to keep faith with the PDP and continue to work as a family, saying with the level of unity and understanding currently demonstrated by the party in the state, its chances in the 2023 elections look even brighter.
Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, Deputy Gov, Bensen Abounu, Sen. Abba Moro, among others, all commended Governor Ortom for the initiative of the meeting and pledged their loyalty to the party.
