A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former senatorial candidate in Benue South, chieftain, Usman Abubakar (Young Alhaji) has declared his support for Steve Lawani as the next governor of Benue State.
IDOMA VOICE observed that the renowned politician said, although he fought former Senate President, David Mark to his tooth in the past in his quest to represent Benue State in the red chamber, but he is behind Lawani to break the jinx by becoming the first Benue governor of Idoma extraction in 2023.
His words, “I contested against the former senate president, David Mark, I fought him very hard, I gave him sleepless night. He thought I can never support anything about him in the future.
“The same me young Alhaji fought for him in 2011 when the issue of unity came, for the interest of Idomas, I throw my support for Lawani.”
