Benue: Abandoned newborn baby rescued in Katsina Ala

An abandoned newborn baby was rescued near the River Side by the Rice Mills area in Katsina Ala, Benue State.

enue Info-Pedia reports that the baby was found just a few hours after being abandoned by an unknown individual.

A nearby resident discovered the infant and quickly alerted others, who took immediate action to ensure the baby’s safety and wellbeing.

The newborn is currently receiving care, and efforts are underway to locate the suspected mother.

At present, the baby is being cared for at Dogara House, close to the Central Mosque in Hausa Quarters, Katsina Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.

Meanwhile, relevant authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
