Benue: Abba Moro vows full support to PDP candidates as LG elections approach

The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro PhD, has charged party faithful to deliver their polling units in the forthcoming local government election in Benue State and assured chairmanship and councilorship candidates of his full support.

Senator Moro gave the charge on Wednesday, 2nd October, 2024 at the PDP Secretariat in Makurdi during the flag-off of the party’s campaign for the election and presentation of flags to candidates.

The senator stated that he was optimistic that PDP would win overwhelmingly on Saturday, 5th October, and in 2027.

He said he was aware of plots by the ruling APC to rig the election but assured that any result that does not reflect the will of the people, as expressed at the polling units will be rejected and challenged in the court.
