Benue: Angry villagers set houses, barns ablaze in Ojakpama over village head tussle

Houses were set ablaze in Ojakpama community in Adoka, Otukpo Local Government, Benue State over village head tussle.

It was gathered that the crisis was fueled by traditional head tussles on who would be the next ruler of the community.

As at the time of this report, normalcy has since been restored.

The chairman of Otukpo LGA, Rt. Hon. Eje Bako, in company of some of his ades, visited the scene on Thursday.

Also, the Alegwu K’Adoka who doubles as the Ad’Otukpo, HRH DR. Samuel Awulu Onuh and others have stepped in to bring a lasting solution to the situation.
