The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Benue State chapter Saturday afternoon returned the incumbent State Chairman of the party, Prince Emmanuel Abba Yaro and other Members of the incumbent EXCO for another term in office.
In a motion moved by Chief Barr. John Ochoga and seconded by Hon. John Dyegh, the party adopted the incumbent EXCO led by Comrade Abba Yaro for another term of four years.
Announcing the result, the electoral committee chairman, Sir Paul Chukwuka, said since there is no opposition to the motion adopting Yaro and other members of the State EXCO, he has no options than to declare the Abba Yaro led EXCO winner of the elective congress.
In his speech, the elated Chairman, Abba Yaro, thanked the party stakeholders and the delegates for the opportunity to serve the party once more, promising to lead the party to another round of victory in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
