Benue Assembly forms Adhoc committee to verify staff salaries and wage bill

The Benue State House of Assembly on Wednesday, 25th July 2023 constituted an Adhoc Committee for the Verification of Staff/Civil Servants’ Salaries and Wage Bill.
The committee has the following members:
1. Hon. Saater Tiseer- Chairman
2. Hon. Matthew Damkor- member
3. Hon. Gyila Solomon- member
4. Hon. Manger Manger -member
5. Hon. Yanmar Ortese- member
6. Hon. Micheal Audu- member
7. Hon. Kennedy Angbo- member
8. Hon. Blessed Onah- member
9. Hon. Bemdoo Ipusu- member
10. Hon Abraham Z. Jabi- member.
In order to meet with specifications, the verification committee has called on the Committees below that were set up by the Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia to appear before it on 26th July, 2023, at the Benue State House of Assembly complex by 10 am unfailingly to explain the general outcry caused by their recent activities.
1. Governor’s Committee on Staff and Salary Verification
2. SUBEB/TSB.
3. NUT
4. NULGE
5. The Auditor General of State, and Local Government.
The Assembly further appealed to those affected by the recent verification exercise as well as unions, groups, and associations to exercise patience as the Adhoc committee set up shall waste no time in carrying out its fact-finding mission of resolving the problem.
