Benue: ‘Bad boys’ matchete another young man in Wurukum, Makurdi
A young man, whose identity could not be ascertained at the time of this report, has escaped death by whiskers after he was attacked by hoodlums around the Wurukum area of Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
Human right activist Ukan Kurugh, who made this known, said the young man was on his way from work around 6am when hoodlums swooped on him, giving him several machete cuts, IDOMA VOICE learnt.
He added the hoodlums went away with his phone, cash and other valuables and in the pool of his blood around Living Faith Church.

IDOMA VOICE recalls that residents of the state recently staged a protest over the activities of hoodlums in Wurukum.
They called on the government to find a lasting solution to the menace.
