Benue-Born Chia Diko Detimbir who discovered missing Nigeria Air force Dornier 228 aircraft in 2006 at Ngokugh Hills, Mbakunu Shangev-ya in Kwande LGA of Benue state when he was 14 years old has graduated from the Nigeria Defense Academy (NDA).
Recall that on Sunday 17th September, 2006 a Nigerian Air Force plane Dornier 228 conveying Senior Millitary personnel to Obudu for a conference crashed at Ngokugh Hills, Mbakunu Shangev-ya in Kwande LGA of Benue state killing 13 of the officers while 5 of them were rescued courtesy of a telephone call from the crash site by Chia Diko Detimbir who led a rescue operation that saved the survivors.
Chia who studied Bsc (HONS) in military economics during his Passing out Parade, Convocation, Pipping and Presidential Commissioning from the Nigerian Defence Academy was given the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.
