Benue-born comedian, Pastor Nicodemus Mbatsavtampu recounts trying to commit suicide 3 times

Benue-born comedian and fierce critic, Usar Tiza aka Pastor Nicodemus Mbatsavtampu, has recounted how he attempted suicide 3 times consecutively.

According to the Tiv cultural ambassador, at a stage in his life, he gave up on himself, God and “everything that meant something”, and contemplated suicide.

Taking to Facebook to make the shocking revelation, he said he know that his parents, family and friends “seeing this now will be surprised”.

He however, said he later beat it, and “after that phase came the reinvention that gave birthed to “Breaking News” Today, millions of people around the world have watched and like it”

He thanked those who believe in him and kept on encouraging him for the past 10 years.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the Tiv comic star recently sparked a debate after he posted that “if you go to any office in Abuja, and you did not see Idoma, run”.

Nicodemus Mbatsavtampu, is a Tivborn comedian and social Justice activist as well as critic. He had called for his Tiv people to allow Idoma produce Governor in Benue state for the sake of equity and fairness, on several occasions.
