The Management of Institute of Health and Technology, Benue State University Teaching Hospital Makurdi hereby announces the sales of admission forms to suitably qualified candidates seeking admission into full time Programmes of the Institute of Health and Technology for the Higher Diploma and National Diploma Programme for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
The Programmes are listed as follows:
1. COLLEGE OF COMMUNITY HEALTH (CCH)
A. One Year Higher Diploma in Community Health also referred to as CHO Programme.
Entry Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into the One (1) Year Higher Diploma in Community health or CHO Programme must possess the under listed qualifications:
i. Possess five (5) credits at SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O/L at not more than two (2) sittings which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
ii. Possession of CHEW Certificate with Two (2) Years post qualification experience.
iii. Possession of current practicing license by the CHPRBN, Abuja.
iv. Possession of a good Honours degree in any of the following disciplines: Health Education, Public Health , Anatomy, Biology, Psychology, Biostatistics, Biochemistry and Microbiology
B. Two (2) Year Higher Diploma in Community Health also referred to as CHO Programme.
Entry Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into the two (2) year Higher Diploma in Community health or CHO Programme must satisfy the requirements as in A i-iii above.
2. SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (SHIM)
A. National Diploma in Health Information Management (6 semesters)
Entry Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into National Diploma in Health Information Management must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O/L. The credit must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.
3. SCHOOL OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING (SBME)
A. National Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (Four semester course work and two semesters internship).
Entry Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into ND, BME must possess a minimum of five (5) credits at SSCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB or GCE O/L. The credits must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings. In addition, a Credit or a Pass in any of the following subjects will be an added advantage. They include Woodwork, Metal Work, Auto Mechanics, Basic Electricity, Basic Electronic and Technical Drawing.

After payments, the applicants/candidates shall proceed with the Bank Teller to the School Bursary Department in exchange for a receipt after which they shall proceed to the Office of Institute’s Registrar to obtain an application or admission form. Applicants are to return completed forms to the Office of the Registrar on or before the date of the aptitude test. The examination shall be Computer Based Test (CBT).
Note that the College Management is not selling forms online.
