The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has alleged that the ongoing insecurity in Benue State is deliberately orchestrated by individuals operating within both state and federal government systems.

Speaking on Sunday through a statement issued by his Media Aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the cleric claimed that the security challenges are part of a calculated effort to destabilize President Bola Tinubu’s administration from within.

“Insecurity is one of the means to destabilize Tinubu’s government and that his opposition within the government is bent on doing all it takes to make it happen,” the statement reads.

According to Primate Ayodele, the crisis is not accidental but deliberately initiated by insiders, and Nigerians would be shocked to learn their identities.

He said:

“People causing insecurity in Benue are in the government system, even in the state and federal. Nobody wants to hear their names because it will be very shocking. The problem in Benue is man-made and is initiated by people.

“President Tinubu needs to wake up to these insecurity problems; they want to use it to destabilize his government, and if he doesn’t arise to tackle the political reasons behind insecurity, he will pay greatly for it.”

The cleric further warned the president against being complacent due to political praise, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

“I am not anyone’s friend, but Tinubu should wake up. Don’t let them be singing Hosanna for you. Insecurity is a serious matter,” he added.
