Benue election: Why Ortom won Jime – Supreme Court justice

Fresh facts have emerged on why the Supreme Court affirmed the reelection of Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State on Tuesday.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the apex court upheld the decision of the lower court and therefore threw out the case brought before it by Emmanuel Jime of the All Progressives Congress.

Speaking during the verdict, Justice Sylvester Agwuata, lead judgement said, “The judgement of the Tribunal and Court of Appeal need not to be disturbed.”
