Benue: Four dead, others injured while conveying stolen rail bars in Ado

Ado LGA Railway Vandals met their untimely deaths as truck conveying the stolen Rail bars fell off killing four (4) and two (2) severely injured.

It was gathered that the ugly incident happened on 10th January, 2024 late night in Igumale.

An eye witness who don’t want his name mentioned, disclosed that Igumale youths in connivance with some Police and Military personnel serving in Ado, have been in the business for over a year now. According to him, the 4 death recorded are all Igumale youths from Elikizi, Igede, Ogongo and Ai-Ebiega Clans while the ones injured from Ogbee.

In reaction, an elder statesman who don’t want his name printed, averse that act of criminality in Ado LGA has overwhelmed everyone and call on relevant government agencies to take decisive actions to ameliorate the situation else the danger ahead would consume everybody.
