Benue: Goods worth millions of naira destroyed as Ugbokolo experiences worst fire outbreak

There was fire outbreak in Odessassa Ugbokolo in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State Thursday morning.

The fire disaster has been described by many as the worst in history on the community.

A native of the community, Tom, said shops along old Enugu Otukpo Road from the gate of the Holy Name Parish to close to Agboleke house were razed down by the inferno.

The inferno destroyed goods worth millions of Naira. Some classrooms of the LGEA Primary School, Ugbokolo were also touched.

As at the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be known.
